CLAVANO PRINTERSClavano Printers started in 1930 as a small letterpress and photoengraving shop. Totally ruined during the World War II, in June 1948 the business was revived and re-established by its owner and founder, Atty. Jose B. Clavano, Sr., supported by his wife, Enriqueta V. Clavano. The revival operations were characterized by the introduction of more efficient and sophisticated offset printing machinery and equipment. Clavano Printers successfully penetrated the industry and developed a fast growing clientele within Cebu City as principal base of operations as well the entire province and the neighboring provinces. Over the years, the exponential increase in volume of job orders had been phenomenal to a point where it was deemed necessary to upgrade the status of the erstwhile single proprietorship business. Thus saw the birth of the new corporate entity called JOSE CLAVANO, INCORPORATED which was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission in January 15, 1964 – named after the company’s founding father, the prime mover behind what is now a seven decade old multimillion peso enterprise. We earned the tag as one of the respected name in the printing industry and diversify its business into several lines like Real Estate, Car Leasing and Export industries. As it hopes to continue its business into the next millennium, it equally wishes to do so in the service of humanity hoping to improve of life by way of providing a variety of innovative products and services.
