We're one of the longest established scuba diving operators in the Visayas, the central part of the Philippines. Started in 1981 in Panagsama Beach, Moalboal, Cebu we now run five boats on our two bases in Moalboal, Cebu and Alona Beach, Bohol. Daily dive-trips, accommodation, safaris and a full range of scuba-dive-courses, all under Dutch management.

The Philippines, where land and sea unite in a blaze of tropical color, is waiting to welcome you. Located in south-east asia, the Philippines is blessed with a tropical climate together with some of the most beautiful beaches and coral reefs to be found anywhere in the world.
Although about eighty different dialects can be heard throughout the islands, english is spoken virtually everywhere and the people are well known for their friendliness! Right in the middle of this archipelago ,the Visayas, on the islands of Cebu and Bohol, you will find the SEAQUEST DIVE CENTER 's. Located at quiet and beautiful Alona Beach on Panglao Island, Bohol and at Panagsama Beach, Moalboal, Cebu, we are there to make your holidays an unforgettable experience. Our highly trained diving instructors are well aware that your safety comes first, so you can concentrate on discovering the magical underwater world that awaits you while learning to dive. If you are already a diver, our experienced dive masters and boat crews will bring you to some of the finest dive spots in the world. Daily diving trips as well as safaris are made on a regular basis and guaranty a high level of variety in diving experiences. And if you don't feel like diving or bring non-diving companions, beach life and land-based activities are various. Alona Beach offers a number of fine resorts, among which our own 'OASIS' resort, all within a few minutes from the dive shop. Their restaurants offer local, American and European food. In accommodation you can make your choice from simple native-style cottages to stone-built aircon bungalows.  In Moalboal you can stay in our 'SUMISID LODGE', aircon rooms downstairs, rooms with electric fan on the first floor. We serve 'buffet-style' meals and are well known for the sociable atmosphere in the
lodge. A few footsteps away is 'HANNAH'S PLACE, European food 'a la carte'. Hannah also has aircon rooms with warm-water showers.  We at SEAQUEST are happy to oblige in reserving your accommodation and organizing whatever you would like us to organize. Among the services available are flight-reconfirmation, foreign currency exchange, assistance with visa-extensions, transfers and excursions, dive equipment rentals and repairs. We accept Master/Visa Credit Cards and US$ Traveller checks. Languages spoken are Nederlands, Deutsch and English.

Amihan, or north-wind from Christmas to Easter, and Habagat, or south-wind from July to October. March to June is the drier period of the year, the wettest months are from October to February. The temperature range is between 25 and 32 degrees celsius, so you don't need fur coats and snow boots. Bring T-shirts and short pants, a nylon jacket for if it's windy on the boat, at least one decent outfit (you have a good chance getting invited to a local birthday or wedding), easy fitting shoes (washable) and slippers. Electric current is 220 V, 60 Hz, and uses the American shaped plugs. Adaptor-plugs come in handy. A flashlight helps you to find your way back home at night. A good first-aid-kit should contain plasters, disinfectants, tablets that regulate the digestive system, decongestants and fever-reducers. Mosquito-repellents from abroad don't seem to work as well as the local-ones. Buy some 'OFF' lotion upon arrival but be careful, it also removes nail-polish ! Sun-tan lotion No. 15 is recommended for those that spend most of their life under neon-lights. The well-known 'Swiss Army Knife' completes your travel-kit. Places to Stay in Bohol and Cebu: Sumisid Lodge  The cozy lodge has been operating since 1981 and was one of the first dive lodges at Panagsama Beach, Moalboal, it's located right next to SeaQuest Dive Center, and has a beautiful view of the ocean with the island of Negros right across. The lodge has a very casual, laid back atmosphere, guests dress in t-shirts and shorts and get together at mealtimes, which are served 'buffet' style, our kitchen has build up quite a reputation over the years, so make sure you sample our dishes!.
The lodge is build entirely from native materials such as bamboo and woods and has a very cozy, homily atmosphere! It further features a lounge area, which doubles as a dining room, as well as a big outdoor verandah where you can sit, relax, read a book, enjoy a drink and from where you walk straight onto the beach. The Lodge is a 2 story building with 5 ac rooms with private bathrooms on the ground floor and 6 fan rooms with common bathrooms on the top floor. The ac rooms have 2 single beds and are equipped with hot & cold showers, not that the water gets very cold, it's usually around 26-29c! The fan rooms have common bathrooms only, which have been newly renovated and are kept very clean and tidy. The dive center is 15m away.........in the morning you enjoy your breakfast and then just stroll over to the dive shop for the morning dive, back for lunch and out again for your afternoon dive......... Your dive equipment can be stored overnight, and our staff carries your tank to the boat, all making for a very relaxing, comfortable holiday! The house reef and drop off is 30m. away, so aside from diving, it's ideal for swimming and snorkeling as well. Car transfers, air ticket confirmations, excursions to Kawasan Falls and motorbike rentals can be arranged by us. We further offer laundry services, International and domestic telephone services and a safety deposit box to keep your valuables. Payment can be made by either cash/travelers checks us$ or euro, cash Philippine Peso, as well as by Visa/Master card. For an easygoing, relaxing diving holiday stay at 'SUMISID LODGE'!
