HOW TO GO TO EL NIDO PALAWAN
El Nido town's Bacuit Bay is one of the most picturesque places in the Philippines, a karst seascape with beautiful islands, lagoons, teeming marine life, pristine white sand beaches.
At the moment, however, there is no commercial flight going directly to El Nido, but you may get there via special flight from Manila (ITI) or land trip from Puerto Princesa Palawan.
HOW TO GET TO EL NIDO - FROM PUERTO PRINCESA
From Puerto Princesa you can take a private van or public van/bus going to El Nido town.
The trip takes approximately six (6) hours and from Puerto Princesa you will pass through the towns of Roxas, San Vicente and Taytay before reaching El Nido town proper.
From Puerto Princesa to Taytay, it is approximately four (4) hours and the road is cemented. However from Taytay town to El Nido terminal it is rough road for approximately two hours. At the moment the roads are under repair/under construction.
TRANSPORTATION RATES FROM PUERTO PRINCESA TO EL NIDO AND VICE VERSA

- Public Van (Shuttle) - PhP 700 nett per person per way. This is a shared van that seats approximately 14 people and can get cramped and uncomfortable especially over the rough roads. Guests will be picked up at their hotel if within Puerto Princesa City proper. For a more comfortable ride the Private Van Rental is recommended
- Private Van Rental from Puerto Princesa to El Nido - PhP 7,000 nett per van per way. The van can accommodate up to ten (10) persons or more, however for maximum comfort, it is recommended to have not more than six (6) persons only.

- Puerto Princesa to El Nido: 5am, 7am, 9:30am, 11am, 1:30pm, 6:30pm
- El Nido to Puerto Princesa: 5am, 7am, 9am, 11am, 1pm, 6pm
BUS FROM PUERTO PRINCESA TO EL NIDO
There are also public buses (Roro Bus) going from San Jose terminal in Puerto Princesa to El Nido, however, travellers will still have to take another transportation (e.g. tricycle ride) for 15-20 minutes from the city center to San Jose terminal.

- Non-aircon: 4am, 8am, 12 nn, 4pm, 8pm
- Aircon: 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm, 10pm

- Aircon: 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm, 10pm
*Bus fare is approximately PhP 400 per person from Puerto Princesa (San Jose) to El Nido. From Puerto Princesa city proper to San Jose Terminal the transportation fare is approximately PhP 100/way (tricycle) or PhP 300/way (van)

HOW TO GET TO EL NIDO - FROM MANILA
At the moment, the only way to get to El Nido from Manila is through special flight catered by ITI. Service charge may apply.
