Buswang Lake is one of Cebu's best kept secrets. Just 1 hour and 45 minutes away from Cebu City via the transcentral highway, it is an easy and pleasant drive over the mountains to Asturias town in the northwest of Cebu.
Have lunch at the lakeside restaurant and choose from kayaking or SUP, or simply relax in the floating cottage. For those that do not want to kayak/SUP, you may also ask the the boatman to bring you to the nearby swimming hole at the other side of the river.
To get to the swimming hole, you will need to disembark from the boat and walk a few steps to the swimming hole.
