Camiguin Island, the "Island Born of Fire", is situated on the northern coast of the Mindanao archipelago.

Camiguin Island has seven volcanoes, famous of which is Mt. Hibok-hibok. Attractions include waterfalls, hot springs, cold springs, varied marine life, old church ruins, a sunken cemetery, and the White Island sand bar.

To get to Camiguin Island, there are commercial flights direct from Cebu City to the island, or an overnight ferry. You may also go to Camiguin via Cagayan de Oro via land and ferry boat.
