Dao Falls is located in Samboan town, approximately 3 hours drive south of Cebu. It is one of the most attractive waterfalls in the south, next to Tumalog Falls.
To get to the falls, it's an approximate 30-40 minute hike with the most scenic canyons along the way. During dry season the canyons are an enchanting shade of turquoise blue while during rainy season it would turn brown after a heavy rain.
At the beginning of the hike there are steep steps going down to the hanging bridge, the rest of the way is relatively moderate until the end where there are steep steps climbing up to the end point.
