This relaxing eco-tour starts in Tagbilaran City or Panglao Island, where a 2.5 hour drive would take you to Cambuhat River in Buenavista town. Upon arrival, board a paddle boat down the river where you will see the oyster farm, a demo and even a taste of fresh oyster.
Then disembark on the visitor's center where a sumptuous native lunch awaits, featuring fresh oysters, oyster cake, seafood and others. After lunch the community will give a short presentation on their programs and management of the river and mangroves as well followed by some song and dance by the village women.
On the way back, you get to have an optional visit to a weaving center as well as Punta Cruz Watchtower, a curious triangular watchtower built in 1796 as a lookout against pirates and marauders. The watchtower overlooks the seas south of Bohol where you can also see the islands of Cebu, Siquijor and Mindanao.

Surcharge: For Christmas Day (Dec 25), New Year’s Day (Jan 1) and Good Friday (April 15, 2022 - date varies every year), there is a surcharge of PHP 1500/group. This is to be paid to the tour guide before the start of tour.
