MOUNT TAPYAS

Mount Tapyas overlooks the small town of Coron, as well as the surrounding islands in Coron bay.

There are approximately 700 steps to get to the top of Mt Tapyas, with regular rest stops and seats along the way.

The best time to climb Mount Tapyas is late afternoon at around 4 pm. It will not be so hot and by the time you reach the top, one can view the sunset on a good day.

Mount Tapyas is a good introduction to the town of Coron and one may choose to join a guided Coron town tour or hire a tricycle and go there by yourself.
