CARRIAGE WEDDING CAKE CARRIAGE WEDDING CAKE
We made this carriage cake, which also features our beads. The three layer square cake is decorated with assorted sugar flowers. The pink beads hang on the base of each layer. We added in the three mini cakes in the bottom so it would be easier for the couple to slice. This set-up also includes the carriage and two papier-mache horses.
QUILTED HEARTS WEDDING CAKE QUILTED HEARTS WEDDING CAKE

Each layer of this cake is heart-shaped. It's because the couple, Julius and Nelaine, wanted something different. They liked the idea of making it heart-shaped instead of the usual round wedding cake. It could also represent their love for each other.

They chose chocolate marble and mocha flavors, alternating each layer. We used an assorment of sugar flowers (roses, hibiscus, four o'clock, five petals) in different shades of pink. The cake was covered in boiled icing designed like a quilt. Thus the quilted hearts title.

WALTER AND VIVIEN'S WALTER AND VIVIEN'S "PILLOW" WEDDING CAKE

Here's our take on the widely popular "pillow cake." If it's quite familiar, you have probably seen it in magazines. This is our version. The bride ,Vivien, wanted it to be simple yet elegant.

Fondant covered "pillows" with assorted embroidery and scrolls. Accented with golden dragees (candies). A little trivia: only the first layer is made of real cake, covered in boiled icing.
